Books on eating and body
Books on eating and body image are wonderful ways to begin an open discussion with your children on the negative impact of dieting and compulsive overeating. Children these days are bombarded with health and lifestyle information - some positive, but most negative. Parents or role models can help children learn how to process and filter this information.
The "Full Mouse, Empty
The "Full Mouse, Empty Mouse" book is suitable for younger children (I would guess 10 or younger), and would be good for both boys and girls. There is a girl mouse and boy mouse in the book.
The "Shapesville" book is best suited for tweens or teens, and is geared towards girls.

What age group are these books best suited to and are they suitable for girls and boys?
